Athletics and Impact

The impact athletics had on my life were a myriad of influence. It addressed the physical elements of exercise and development. It addressed mental toughness and decision-making skills under stressful situations.

I always gave spiritual thanks to the creator for the ability to participate in athletics and it filled emotional need to compete and succeed. All of these elements have helped me in my educational, professional, and social development.

Athletics provides an avenue for individuals to participate in team building activities and develops personal commitment and work ethic essential to success. Many corporations, institutions, and organizations could benefit from team building philosophy. The individual focus in today’s society has made it difficult for team/group strategies for success.
